The Stock Markets – A LOSE – LOSE PROPOSITION !!

I have become concerned that my Stock Market comments may be construed by some people as encouragement to invest or speculate in stocks in order to increase wealth.

I wish to make it perfectly clear that an increase in your ownership of dollars is NOT, I repeat, NOT, the recommended road to take.

Therefore I am severely limiting my stock market comments in the hope that my friends and readers will forgo all stock and bond activities as I have done.

I hope to find another hobby that interests me.

In the not too distant future all dollars will be worthless !!

My recommendation is to preserve what wealth you have by converting any savings you have accumulated, into physical gold and silver while you still have the opportunity to do so.

Today confirmed that the market has changed direction for a while. This looks like a serious down market and should not be entered into for at least a couple of months.
Physical Gold and Silver should be held ….. Add to your holdings when the spot price is under $1050 and then again when it goes under $1010.
The GLD & SLV ETF’s should be shunned. The brave of heart can buy DZZ, SPXU, FAZ, and SKF. DGP can be shorted.

Expect more downside for next week and possibly some firming near the end of the 1st week of February.
This could be a multi month downturn ….. this is a time to be extra cautious.
Again, I recommend the purchase of gold and silver coins during this downturn to protect the buying power of your savings.

There has been a lot of technical damage done to the market in the last few days ….. time to get out and let it go down without you for the next few weeks.

Use the lower prices to stock up on physical PMs.

Support Levels to watch for:

S&P 500 – 1100 and under that 1080
SPOT GOLD – 1080 and under that 1020
SPOT SILVER – 16.50 and under that 14.50

And the stock market rally rides on slowly but surely attaining new heights regularly.
The A/D remains strong with 2488 stocks advancing this week and only 699 declining.
The Hi/Lo ratio expanded to 858 new highs vs only 6 new lows for the week.
Too bad that this only reflects the competence of the thieving establishment at enriching themselves at the expense of the rest of the population.
Many people think that an advancing DJIA indicates a solid economy …… Just the opposite is the case. It only indicates a failure of the US Dollar and hard times for the average citizen.
I hope that you have bookmarked the links on the side and are becoming a regular reader of some of the writers who contribute to these sites. It’s a great way to become informed and get an education in basic economics.
I also hope that you are buying physical precious metal coins to preserve the buying power of your savings. Krugerands, Eagles, Silver Dollars, bars, and rounds are the way to go rather than looking for numismatic value. Metal content is preferred to beauty.
